Hello lovely! Today I’m going to share about a few of the gems that God used to prepare me to become a Kingdom Business Owner.  These treasures are still sustaining me through entrepreneurship currently and the recent launch of my virtual store. The year 2018 was one of the hardest seasons. Like Esther, I had an enemy and the enemy worked overtime to break me that year.  When God plants you in position as He did Esther, making her queen, nothing can move you. I love Esther’s story.  It’s a reminder to trust God in the face of adversity, to be bold and courageous when necessary, and dependent upon the power of God to change your situation, family, neighborhood or nation. God wouldn’t let the enemy break me. The Master created a brand new woman in the flames of that season. I’m continually learning that God can use everything that happens to me to bring out the best in me. The best of me reflects God’s brilliance. My story is His story, and He’s the Author. I’ve come to understand that God’s glory is revealed when I am humbly submitted.

Around seven or eight years old, I played with Barbie Dolls for hours each day. I wasn’t interested in entertaining myself. Rather, I was purely interested in styling my petite friends. Studying the colors, patterns and textures of clothing, I masterfully learned to combine unexpected ensembles. Creating unique hairstyles was another reason that I was frequently drawn to these tiny-waisted figures. My childhood dreams were to become a clothing designer, pursue additional training to become a certified beautician, then purchase a spa to provide rejuvenation and beauty services to women who lacked confidence. The hours spent serving my doll collection, God used as an identification process to unearth my future Kingdom work- serving and beautifying women through entrepreneurship. I was graced with revelation about a massive portion of the work that I would later do to share God’s love with women.

My relationship with the Father has led me to pleasant places that I hadn’t anticipated. Besides the raw talent to style hair and create eclectic looks- fresh fashionable garments, I didn’t become the type of beautician or fashion designer that I saw in my spirit. The desire of God’s heart was that these natural abilities be executed in a more rewarding way than previously imagined through my young eyes. God used the skills He’d supplied me with to build the confidence of hardworking moms with little resources in my neighborhood and city for several years. Later, God entrusted me with an opportunity to become a certified Christian Stylist. Post certification, the Lord introduced me to brokenhearted beauties devalued by society with distorted self-views.

More than thirty years have passed since my dreams were realized through childhood play. God’s sweet Spirit sang entrepreneurial songs to me since I was a single-digit pre-teen. Thirty plus years of tribulation and training has finally led to the development of a small legitimate Christian business with an emphasis on supporting and serving Christian women. I’m ecstatic that the King of Kings has provided the royal concept and designs for my virtual Kingdom Business. To encourage His daughters at such a time as this, God has made my life rich.

The seeds were sown many seasons ago and the fruit, the birth of the Princess Dress Store, has manifested visually. Princess Dress is a lifestyle. It’s a heart condition, a mindset, and an intentional decision to live our best lives for God in all dimensions. Actively embracing self-love, displaying love to our neighbors, and adorning our temples honorably are a display of God’s goodness to the generations. Providing beauty boxes, faith apparel, handmade goodies, and stellar customer service as a small business owner, are my appointed tools of grace from God to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Princess Dress Store made its official debut on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The reviews from customers and friends have been heartwarming. To hear the customer’s reflection of their experiences as shoppers and testimonials about the attentive customer service that they’ve received, means that my dedication to God through this fashionable ministry is blessing lives. I’ve learned four jewels about using our gifts from God throughout the building of this business since my youth that can be applied to practically any area of gifting. Here are the four things that were discovered-

4 Key Things To Remember About Your Gifts

Key Number One:  You’ll Have to Take A Leap of Faith to Bear Fruit

Proverbs 14:23  All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

Key Number Two:  Your Skills Must Be Developed

Proverbs 19:2  It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.

Key Number Three:  Listen to Someone’s Voice Besides Your Own

Proverbs 28:26  He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.

Key Number Four: Be Committed to God and He Will Prosper You

Proverbs 16:3  Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

What are a few of the jewels God has taught you to make good use of your gifts? I’d be honored if you’d leave a comment and share.  Until next time princess, I look forward to serving you through my small Christian business. Come by and explore the store at You’re welcome anytime!
